Raking Leaves

This past Saturday Spencer and I had nothing to do so we decided to make a stop over at the Frandsen's. We started out throwing the football and kicking the soccerball and then decided to rake leaves! Ready.... set.... jump!
This is pure joy right here......

I love these girls!
Michelle trying to get her girls to clean it up. If you can't tell, Madelyn (far right) was so unhappy about having to clean up leaves! She really wanted to watch Camp Rock on Disney instead... Oh and Spencer and Jeff were trying to do some home repairs and I didn't get a picture of them! Oops!

Ode to my Mother

This post is for my Mom. Since this is the month of giving "Thanks" I wanted to thank my mom for always being there for me! My mom is the kind of person that when you say you're doing "ok", knows that you really aren't ok. She is very talented & works at Pine Needles in Gardner Village. She absolutely LOVES to quilt. She is very loving and forgiving. She is always the first to apologize and ask forgiveness because she knows that having a relationship with her daughter is important. She is always willing to help financially, like helping with groceries, taking me out to dinner, etc. even if she gets in trouble by my Dad! She is very loving and understanding of me. I know she is concerned for me & my happiness. I can't believe I don't have a picture of me & my mom but you get to see my Dad too. I love you Mommy! and yes, I still call her Mommy!

Stuffed Pizza Rolls

Can I just say that I love ourbestbites.com? They have some of the yummiest recipes and this one was so easy and simple!

Halloween

This year Spencer and I babysat our step sister-in-laws over Halloween weekend so I thought it would be fun to throw a small party! I only got two pictures because we were late for the trunk or treat and it was POURING rain so I left my camera and then for some reason it got forgotten the rest of the night. We ended up playing games and eating lots of candy! We also watched one of my favorite Halloween movies called "Hocus Pocus." Thanks Spencer for getting that movie for me!
I made my all-time favorite Halloween dessert.... dirt cups! (above) Thanks Megan for helping me write on the cookies! (Below) Rootbeer in a bubbling cauldron

Summer turns 12

I can't believe Summer is 12 already.... off to Young Women's she goes! Michelle made us dinner, we opened presents and then all 10 of us went to Trafalga to play Laser Tag. WAY fun! I hadn't played since high school!

Pumpkin Carving

I love the Fall! The trees are gorgeous and there are so many fun festivities going on. I held a pumpkin carving party with the cousins at my house and took a lot of pictures. I did fail to get one of Spencer and I but we had a yummy BBQ and had a fun time hanging out.
Let the carving begin!
Treven & Brittany
Eboni & Date (Forgot the name) Please forgive me.. this was already almost 3 weeks ago!
Christine & Baby Parker
The boys that didn't feel like carving... here they are watching How to Train Your Dragon

Britney & Joe
Brandon & Emily
And here we are playing Halloween BINGO! I think this was my favorite part of the night, we all got laughing so hard just cracking jokes and eating stale peanuts. (I couldn't find any game pieces so we broke out the year old peanuts) and the boys weren't too thrilled about the prizes either! I don't blame them.. who wants to win stale Good & Plenty's? Courtesy of my Mother's pantry...
I was so happy with the way these turned out... so fun!

Spider

In Spencer's dad's backyard during the Summer the creepy crawlies come out! This spider made a humungous web and if you look close it is the weirdest spider I've ever seen in Utah. It had hard-like shell that was red. It almost looked like a crab! It wouldn't come out so this is the best picture we were able to get. Also, the wolf spiders are the size of golf balls... it's pretty gross.
Here he is...
